The Eye Ball R1 Provides a New Level of Intelligence & Visibility into Tactical Situations

Rockville, MD- Remington Technologies announced that the Eye Ball R1 has received a "Grant of Equipment Authorization" from the Federal Communication Commission paving the way for this unique technology to be distributed to the law enforcement community in North America.

The Eye Ball R1 has been tested by more than 100 law enforcement and military groups in the US. As Sam Page, Sheriff of Rockingham County- NC recently stated, "The Eye Ball R1 provides a new level of intelligence and insight into previously veiled siege, surveillance and rescue situations. This is also facilitated by the product's great versatility. It can be easily attached to spikes or poles assisting users in hallway/corner and especially attic investigations. And quiet frankly, who wants to be the guy sticking his head up an attic in a hostile situation?"

The Eye Ball R1 is the first product introduced by Remington Technologies, a new division of Remington Arms Co, Inc. This baseball sized camera is a rugged, self righting device that can be rolled, tossed or dropped into virtually any hazardous situation; wirelessly transmitting video and audio to provide a 360° view of the area of interest.

Remington Technologies was launched in 2004 as a new operating unit of Remington Arms Company, Inc. which is known as a leading manufacturer of firearms, ammunition and related accessories. The Eye Ball R1 is the first product of a new line of ground-breaking technologies from ODF Optronics Ltd., that will be introduced by Remington Technologies in order to serve the Law Enforcement and Military markets. "The FCC approval paves the way for ODF and Remington to provide vital tools to protect our citizens'. The versatility of the Eye Ball exemplifies why it could soon become indispensable for Law Enforcement/Military." said Ehud Gal, Chief Executive Officer, ODF Optronics, Ltd.
